Very good stay, the GR is MAGNIFICENT......
From Calenzana to Conca in its traditional form, or from south to north from Bavella to Bonifatu, set off on the GR20 without any organisational worries for a complete crossing of the island.
We offer two levels of walking. The sporty level 4 will enable you to complete the crossing following the official route. For the moderate level 3 versions, the stages have been reorganised to make the route easier, while offering more comfortable accommodation, either in a gîte or a hotel.
Choose your GR20 between a trek accompanied by a guide or, for the more independent and experienced, a free adventure.

Some stages can indeed be doubled, but be careful not to plan a late arrival at the refuge, as this can be risky. In the event of a storm, you could be putting yourself in danger while still on the ridges. Generally speaking, the rule for good mountain climbing in Corsica is to pass exposed areas before midday, or earlier depending on the weather conditions.
The opening dates of the refuges are set by the PNRC. Generally, the wardens are on duty from the end of May to the end of September. The refuges on the GR20 have a section that is always accessible, but it is only possible to buy food during the guarding period.
Yes, it is possible to do the GR20 solo with your dog, provided you are well prepared. Like a human, your dog needs to be used to walking for several days and have excellent recall. Good training is essential, especially for lively, active dogs. Some tricky sections of the GR20 may require you to carry your dog. The equipment required includes a sturdy harness with a handle, a rucksack with saddlebags for the dog to carry its accessories and food, collapsible bowls, a microfibre towel and a first-aid kit. Preparing and testing the equipment beforehand is crucial to ensuring your dog's safety and comfort. Please note that pets are not allowed on our group trips.
For a traditional GR20 hut hike, your toiletry kit should be light and minimalist, given the lack of showers and the need to carry a light rucksack. Here's what it should contain for the 15-day hike:
