Start of your stay in Corte

Check in to your hotel in the centre of the island in Corte, the historic capital of Corsica (accessible by train from Ajaccio, Bastia or Calvi). After settling in, explore the narrow streets and citadel along the heritage trail (1h30). You can complete your tour by visiting the citadel and its museum.

The Tavignano gorges or the lakes

A choice of two walks departing from your hotel in Corte.

The Tavignano gorges : The Tavignano gorges, a paved path that winds its way between immense granite walls in the heart of a beautiful forest, and up the Tavignano river.
Melo and Capitello lakes : Nestling in a mountain cirque are two lakes of glacial origin that are only accessible on foot: Melo (1711 m) and Capitello (1930 m).

Corte to Calvi

The train winds its way through the mountains before reaching the seaside and the most beautiful beaches of Balagne. After settling in, you can explore the citadel and the town. We also offer a choice of two hikes:
The Capu di Veta summit : On the heights of the town, the chapel of Notre Dame de la Serra is a magnificent lookout point over the bay and mountains.
La Revellata : The Revellata peninsula is a natural seaside area, unique for its vegetation and views over the Bay of Calvi and the mountains.

We offer comprehensive multi-risk insurance specifically adapted to our adventure trips (contract no. 7482 Assurinco). The rates are as follows: 4.00% of the price of the trip for French residents, 6% of the price of the trip for residents from the European Union (EU) outside France. For non-EU residents, the rate is €90 per person.
