History - Key dates
Over the years, we have continued to innovate in order to offer you a wide range of activities for an original approach to our island.
- 1996: creation of the first circuits for the Anglophone Tour Operators. Corsica was a little known destination to English speaking clients.
- 2000: implementation of the first "self guided" walking formulas on the island.
- 2006: creation of the first GR20 circuits for French Trekking Tour Operators, making Corsica Aventure the specialist of this route.
- 2010: development of circuits for German and Italian clients and Trekking Tour Operators.
- 2014: creation of a range of autotours alternating walks, visits and trips with personal car, or rental hire..
- 2015: introduction of a hut booking and luggage logistics service on the GR20.
- 2017: organisation of lodge tent camps and privatised bivouac areas in privileged zones to offer unique holidays to our hikers.
- 2019: development of a range of cycling tours combining comfort and discovery.
- 2021: launch of our Android application Corsica Aventure to manage your holiday in Corsica.

Our field operations team
In addition to our office in the centre of Ajaccio, where we manage your bookings and the administrative side of things, we also have premises dedicated to organising your stay in the field (preparing picnics, refuelling, managing equipment for the bivouacs), as well as a fleet of new vehicles for your transport.
A team of logisticians will take care of your transfers and transport your luggage, even to the most inaccessible refuges.
