This is a week’s walking that truly has it all, the island’s historical capital, the Restonica Gorge and it’s glacier lakes, lac de Melo and Capitello. You will discover the remote Niolu Valley and with 2 nights in a comfortable converted ski hotel you can take the GR20 trails through pine tree forests to the Lac de Nino and Ciottulu, the highest refuge on the island, situated at 2000m altitude. Once through the depths of the Spelunca Gorge, you complete the experience in Piana, a picturesque mountain village that nestles above the rugged red granite sea cliffs. There are hidden inlets of clear crystal blue water, and you have the chance to see the UNESCO world heritage site of Scandola. We have saved the best walk for last, Capo Rossu on the West Coast! A panoramic highlight to top off the week.
