New GR20 treks

The GR20 is the grail, a challenging long distance hiking trail that crosses the Corsican mountains. With 200km of trail following the granite backbone of mountains that divide the island in two, and peaks of over 2000m altitude. The GR20 is the best and toughest long distance hike out there!

Just another summer in Corsica?

As we look back on the 2021 season, it is with a little remorse as we saw few of our overseas guests that we enjoy welcoming to Corsica. Our English team were despatched to help out with logistics, picnics and our guided groups, where they took duty phone calls, transferred clients and dealt with guides on the terrain.

The GR20 is considered the hardest long distance trail and for most people the trail takes two around weeks, a challenge at the best of times. Imagine the exploit to run it in just over thirty hours, that is just what Lambert Santelli, a 34 year old from Lavatoghju in the Balagne near Calvi did !

Haut Asco

If you are hiking the GR20 you will come across the mini ski station of Haut Asco between the refuges of Carrozu and Tighiettu. Situated at the foot of the Monte Cinto, the island’s highest summit (2710m) the village is the Mecca for mountain sports.
