Who we are

In 1995 two friends, Sarah and Etienne joined forces to start Corsica Aventure. Coming from totally different backgrounds, Etienne, a proven mountaineer from the Pyrenees and Sarah, an English guide already in Corsica, passionate about the island and the outdoors. They combined their complimentary experience to start Corsica Aventure. The partnership grew and today the company is proudly the leading Corsican Mountain walking tour-operator. With over 15 years experience under their belts, you can feel completely as ease when booking a holiday. Whether in the mountains or by the sea, you will have the assurance of proven logistics, organization and professionalism.

Devoted Francophiles

Based in Ajaccio on the west coast of the island Corsica Aventure is a Franco-English company. We are the only company in Corsica that is half English and half French. This means we know how to cater for a whole range of different nationalities and expectations. We are the local agents for all the major French tour operators such as, Terre d’Aventure and Nouvelle Frontier. As well as, Mountain Travel Sobek based in Berkley USA, Explore Worldwide and KE Adventure Travel UK. Our holidays are perfectly suited for English speakers who are keen Francophiles.

We have built up a reputation over the years for quality active mountain holidays that offer cultural insight, great itineraries, unforgettable walking and travel experiences. Being based here gives us plenty of opportunity to find the best walks, hotels and restaurants. All the staff at Corsica Aventure live on the island, a lot of them were born here.

Types of Holiday

We provide both guided and independent itineraries to suit all levels of interest and abilities. The majority of our holidays are walking itineraries as we believe it’s one of the best ways to discover a region. We also have cycling and multi-activity programmes, with canyoning, kayaking and scuba diving. We made the innovative move of developing the GR20, Europe’s toughest long distance trek, into a fully supported, self guided walk. We also have a range of holidays that combine the best mountain walks with great food and comfortable hotels.

Excellent quality with low prices

We have the best programmes that combine quality with unbeatable prices. Our aim is to offer fantastic holidays and then have everyone come back. The main reason to chose Corsica Aventure is, above all else, that we are a dynamic and on-hand team who know the terrain better than anyone else. As we live in the regions, we deal directly with all our partners, thus cutting out the middle-man, which means (as you might have noticed) , we are able to offer you extremely competitive prices

A renowned "Savoir-Faire"

We deal with the conception, creation of documents, reservations and also all the logistics for our holidays. Our adaptiveness and resourcefulness mean we can offer you holidays of a high quality at the lowest prices. This is one of the reasons for our success during all these years, and why so many of you are choosing to holiday with Corsica Adventure. This also permits us to work with all the English tour operators, for whom we organise holidays in the regions we are based in.

We are Rough Guide Recommended!!

The GR20 with Corsica-Adventure has been specially recommended in the 'Rough Guide to Ultimate Adventures', published in September 2008. Rough Guides is one of the most successful and respected travel brands in the world, with over 300 travel guides in print. They have a reputation for good writing, accuracy and honesty, and the inclusion of the very best that a destination has to offer in terms of hotels, restaurants, cafés and other businesses and services. Only a few companies qualify for a special recommendation of this kind, which highlights the GR20 with Corsica Adventure as one of the authors’ favorites. General information for all of the island can be found in the ‘Rough Guide to Corsica’.
